Nav Planner
Plan UAV routes on the ground: pick the destination and waypoints, calculate a terrain-aware route, review it, then export the flight plan for the host autopilot.
Terrain-aware route planning
Planning stays on the ground. The host autopilot executes the plan, while SenzFusion supplies the aircraft’s navigation estimate.
- 01 · Define
Set the mission
Select the departure, destination and intermediate waypoints. Load terrain and the mission’s planning constraints.
- 02 · Calculate
Generate a route
Generate a route using the selected inputs and aircraft profile.
- 03 · Review
Inspect and adjust
Inspect the route, altitude, endurance estimates and warnings. Adjust the plan before export.
- 04 · Export
Hand off the plan
Export the reviewed route as a QGroundControl .plan file for the flight-plan handoff.
Today the export contains the flight plan only. Packaging reference imagery with it is coming soon.
One mission package, two onboard destinations
A mission package associates the reviewed route with terrain references, thermal reference imagery and payload configuration. Each part goes to the system that uses it.
Route and waypoints
The host autopilot flies the plan, using the payload’s course corrections.
Terrain and imagery
Terrain maps and thermal reference scenes are loaded into onboard storage for the fusion pipeline.
Deployment management will record the package version and confirm it loaded. Coming soon: dynamic rerouting — route updates during the mission, with the host autopilot keeping flight control.
